Naked-Eye 3D Urban Animation
The animation was specifically developed for a corner LED screen configuration, where two connected screens meet at a right angle. This setup enables the naked-eye 3D illusion to function effectively, creating depth, scale, and perspective without the need for special viewing equipment. Motion and environment extend across both screens, allowing the digital cityscape to appear as if it emerges into real space.
Created for Star Park Shopping Mall, this one-minute naked-eye 3D animation was designed to deliver an immersive on-site experience for audiences in Hubei, China. The project positions Star Park as a futuristic, city-like hub for shopping and urban life, using a cyber-inspired visual language to elevate the mall’s presence within the region.
I led concept development, storyboarding, and visual direction in collaboration with the Flexion Productions 3D animation team, ensuring the digital narrative, spatial logic, and technical execution worked seamlessly together to maximize immersion.
